Come and celebrate the yearly cycle of life and the Welsh folk customs and rituals that bring people together at the turn of the seasons. ‘Mari Ha!’ is a folkloric exploration of some of Wales’ oldest traditions, bringing together the solstices and equinoxes, the Mari Lwyd and the Cadi Ha in an energetic contemporary dance performance for the outdoors.
This new work combines dance, design and music in a way that breaks new ground, celebrating nature's power to bring communities of people together to express themselves culturally.
This work was created in 2024 as a co-commission by Menter Bro Morgannwg, The National Eisteddfod of Wales and Green Man festival with additional support from National Dance Company Wales.
